The Cactus Outlet is a fabulous place to order yourself or as a gift cactus online. It’s packaged extremely well and very easy to plant with the instructions that arrive with the plant. There is no sticking of thorns since it packaged well. I’ve learned from the way they are packaged on arrival that you need to always use bubble wrap to deal with different species of cactus’. Came very quickly. I was surprised at the small plant I received, I thought the plant would be bigger. All I received was one small paddle. Other than that I had a positive experience.
Love snow white! Only thing was that it said it came in a one gallon pot, but came as a bare root.
I wanted to plant some cactus at my home in Maryland. I had three criteria. The cactus had to be able to withstand our Winters; it had to grow about 3 ft in height; and it had to produce prickly pears. I email these criteria to cactus outlet and within 24 hours received a response from Mike. Mike offered his recommendations and suggested that I keep the cacti in pots over the winter to see which would survive. I took Mike's recommendations and purchased the Snow White prickly pear, the Santa Rita and Beaver Rita prickly pears. They came in a well-insulated box wrapped in plastic film whit planting instructions. So far they are doing very well. The Snow White prickly pear provides a stark and welcome contrast to the other plants in my garden. I look forward to doing business with the cactus outlet again soon.
