This cactus is huge!!! Tall and thick. And very healthy. It was sent bare root and I couldn’t pot it for about 10 days. But it is fine and seems happy under my bright grow lights.
My Beaver-Rita has settled in with no transplant shock. A plant light is keeping it happy indoors. Resisting the urge to overwater.
I purchased an ocotillo towards the end of August & when it arrived most of the leaves had dropped. I went ahead & potted the barefoot plant - all leaves had dropped by this time. After a few days I watered thoroughly. New leaves have popped out up & down each of the three stems! This all happened in the space of about 15 days! I look forward to watching my ocotillo grow this winter under grow lights! In KY there is still adequate time for my ocotillo to acclimate.
